There’s just a couple of things I need to let you know before booking in:
-
I usually recommend giving yourself at least 2 weeks (3 optimum) to gather your content and get prepared.
We use a shared Google folder to keep ourselves super organised for our project.
On the Google drive, you’ll find documents to upload your content with useful copy prompts so you provide the right content. I also offer a 45 minute Content Strategy Call should you wish to get some guidance and help ahead of creating your copy.
All final content must be uploaded to our shared Google drive at least 7 days in advance of the project start date so that I can do my prep work. If you’re delayed, I will need to move your booking.
Once your copy is uploaded, we connect for a 45 minute Kick-Off Strategy Call 3-5 days before your Website in a Week start date. On this call, we will get clarity on the overall design direction for your website so that we hit the ground running at the start of your website build.
-
You’ll provide your website copy. Many of my clients write the copy themselves (I am happy to do light copy-editing during the site build), but I can also make recommendations if you’d like help with this step - everything from self-paced courses to amazing full-service copywriters.
You’ll provide all the images on your website. Brand photography is a wonderful way to personalise your site. But if brand photography is not in your budget, you can curate stock photography and graphics. I will provide you with some of my favorite resources in your launch pack.
-
If you don’t have branding, you can add this to your website project. Scroll down for details ↓
-
You’ll need to register a domain name to launch your website. I recommend purchasing this through 123 Reg.
An annual Squarespace Core hosting plan is required for your website. I don't work with Personal plans as I’m unable to to use advanced coding and design features needed for your site.
-
To achieve a more refined look, I may suggest custom fonts, premium images, or specific plugins. I'll always discuss any additional costs with you and get your approval before proceeding.
For advanced design features beyond Squarespace's standard options, I use Squarekicker plugin. These custom elements remain intact when you take over the site. However, if you need to edit these specific sections yourself later, you'll need to either purchase a month of Squarekicker or book me for a Squarespace Mini-Session.
-
After your website week has wrapped up, you'll receive 14 days of email support for any tech questions related to your website. Support is available on weekdays (Monday to Friday) during business hours.
60 minutes of small revisions are offered within 7 days.
For ongoing website support, you can book a Power Hour or Mini Session from my Support page.

Most projects take around 6–8 weeks from start to finish. This includes a couple of weeks at the beginning for you to gather your images and copy, with plenty of guidance from me along the way. Once everything is ready, I move into the design and build phase, which usually takes around 4–6 weeks, followed by final tweaks and launch. The pace is calm, considered, and designed to feel manageable rather than rushed.
-
Squarespace's user-friendly interface, intuitive editing tools, mobile responsiveness, and comprehensive support make it relatively easy for users to edit, update, and maintain their websites without requiring advanced technical skills. And of course they have a great support team available.
-
Most custom websites include up to 7 core pages, such as Home, About, Services, and Contact, shaped around what your business actually needs.
Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions pages are included as standard, in addition to these core pages. I don’t provide legal copy myself, but I’ll guide you on what’s required and add the pages to your site once your policies are ready.
-
At the start of the project, I’ll ask you to share your website copy, images, and any brand assets you already have. You’ll have around 2–3 weeks to gather everything, with clear guidance and prompts from me to make it feel manageable. Once your content is in place, I take care of the design and build, checking in at agreed points for feedback so the process stays steady and supportive.
-
My process is calm, structured, and collaborative, designed to give you clarity without overwhelm.
We begin with a strategy session where we define your goals, ideal clients, and direction, so every decision feels intentional rather than guessed. You’ll then have time (usually 2–3 weeks) to gather your copy and images, supported by a website welcome pack with guidance and prompts to make this step feel manageable.
Once everything is ready, I design and build your custom Squarespace website, keeping you involved at key points while handling the technical side for you. Before launch, I refine the details, carry out final checks, and prepare everything so going live feels smooth and confident.
After launch, you’ll have a 30-day support window for questions, small tweaks, and reassurance as you start using your new site in the real world.
-
You’ll provide the main website copy, and many clients choose to write this themselves. I’m happy to do light copy-editing during the build to help everything flow clearly and feel aligned. If you’d like more support, I can also recommend a range of options — from self-paced courses through to trusted, full-service copywriters.
You’ll also provide the images for your website. Brand photography is a lovely way to personalise your site, but it’s not essential. If brand photography isn’t in budget, you can absolutely use carefully chosen stock images and graphics. I’ll share some of my favourite resources in your welcome pack to make this feel straightforward.
If you don’t yet have branding in place, this can be added to your website project so everything feels cohesive and considered.
-
Custom website projects start from £2,997. The exact investment is confirmed after a discovery call, once we’ve talked through your needs and agreed the scope together. Payment plans are available, and everything is outlined clearly before we begin.
-
Alongside your core pages, I can include additional pages if your business needs them. These might include things like blog or resources pages, FAQs, testimonials, portfolio or case study pages, workshops or events pages, lead magnet sign-up pages, or separate landing pages for specific services or offers.
We’ll talk through what makes sense for your business during the strategy stage, and any extra pages are always agreed in advance so everything feels clear and considered.
-
Once your website goes live, you’re not left to figure everything out on your own. You’ll have a 30-day post-launch support window, where I’m on hand to answer questions, make small tweaks, and help you settle into using your site with confidence.
After that, you’re welcome to move onto a website care plan for ongoing support, or book ad-hoc support sessions if and when you need them. Many clients like knowing there’s a calm, familiar place to return to as their business evolves — without pressure or long-term commitment.
